Join The Grief Experience
Collaborative Book Project
Tools for Acceptance, Resilience & Connection
Words cannot justify how excited I am to share this information with you! I am thrilled to announce a remarkable collaborative book project with Brave Healer Productions focused on grief and loss.
I was 14 years old when my mom died from breast cancer. This event ultimately shaped my life and the woman I am today. That is why you are reading this, and I have dedicated my life to helping children and adults on their grief journey. I find meaning in my grief every day through the work I do as the owner of Greater Life Grief Counseling, LCSW, and Center for Informed Grief, LLC.
I have always wanted to write a book on grief and loss to share my expertise and personal journey with grief, but I had no idea where to start.
In October of 2022, I was part of an amazing collaborative book, Holistic Mental Health, with Laura Mazzotta and 23 other awesome co-authors. Seeing my name on the cover of that book was the most indescribable feeling.
It was such an incredible experience that I decided it was time to make my dream of publishing a grief book a reality, and I chose to partner with Brave Healer Productions.
This book is called The Grief Experience: Tools for Acceptance, Resilience, and Connection.
Grief is a normal, natural experience that everyone goes through during their lifetime, yet people feel alone in their grief and don’t have the tools to navigate their grief journey.
Grief is the feeling associated with a loss. I envision this book exploring multiple kinds of grief, including anticipatory, traumatic, nonfinite, and losses such as child loss, infertility, divorce, suicide, loss, pet loss, and more.
The goal for this book is that whatever kind of grief someone may be experiencing, the reader will be able to pick this book up and will be able to relate with at least one author in this book. They will also learn multiple tools to help them accept the reality of their loss, build resilience, and feel less alone in their grief.
This life-changing book will have 25 authors, including myself. Each author will include a personal story about their grief experience and then provide a tool for the reader to utilize. The chapter will be 2500 to 3000 words plus each author’s bio.
I am looking for co-authors that are passionate about grief and loss and want to share their stories. If you are a therapist, coach, healer that works with grieving clients, this is a great opportunity to help even more grieving individuals by sharing your story and tools.
Have you ever wanted to write your own book but didn’t know where to start or were totally intimidated by the process like I was? Being a part of this process and being led by Laura DiFranco of Brave Healer Productions will make this process so unbelievably easy. By the date the book is published, you will feel amazing.
The Benefits of Being a Co-Author in The Grief Experience Include:
The opportunity to be in an Amazon Bestselling book. Brave Healer Productions has published 51 of those so far!
The opportunity to get your story and message out into the world in a much bigger way.
Being an author gives you authority and credibility in your field.
It allows you to gain speaking engagement opportunities through trainings, conferences, podcasts and more to share your story and your business. Journalists seek out individuals who are experts in the field and published authors, allowing you to become a source for future articles and reports.
Being part of a published book and having an author's page on Amazon can increase your business and reach new clientele.
The opportunity to network with other authors and readers and join a powerful community.
The ability to purchase author book copies at cost (usually $5-$6 plus shipping) and sell at retail price. Many past Brave Healer authors have set up pre-sales pages and covered their fee to be in the project BEFORE the book is available! You can also bring these books to local book signings in your community.
The opportunity to be on The Brave Healer Productions group author interview on YouTube with Laura DiFranco.
The Grief Experience will have a professional press release that can allow for additional opportunities to market your business.
Being a part of a big mission to change the world, one brave word at a time.
A chance to do live training or story time readings in bonus Facebook groups.
Free monthly business coaching and networking in the Brave Badass Healers, a Community for World Changers Facebook group.
Discounts on business coaching and affiliate income opportunities for future book projects.
Brave Healer Productions professionally edits each chapter. They will also host a writing zoom support session for all co-authors of the Grief Experience at the beginning of the project.
Amazon bestseller book launch training. Learning these techniques can help you when you want to publish your own book.
Copywriting and business training.
Access to the Facebook Authors Group, where Laura Di Franco, our publisher, and Kelly Daugherty communicate with co-authors for this book project. This is an excellent opportunity to connect with the co-authors, make plans to collaborate, and build a fantastic community of grief-informed providers.
Opportunity to be a guest on the Path 11 Podcast with April Hannah.
Opportunity to Present at a Virtual Grief Conference in Spring 2024. More details to follow.

Virtual Breathwork and Sound Healing Sessions will be provided in September and October for all authors to help you process your emotions.
And more. . .
The kickoff for this project will be in September 2023, with the book released in February 2024.
WHAT IS THE INVESTMENT TO BE A CO-AUTHOR?
Investment: Investing in this book project is not only investing in the book, but yourself and your business. This is a great way to expand the reach of your business.
Publishing a book is expensive and by doing it as a group we are able to split the costs among all the authors. If you have previously published your own book, you know that this is a small fraction of what it costs, plus the bonuses you will receive as part of this project. Self-publishing a book can cost thousands of dollars and that doesn't include the editing costs, design services and the marketing of the book. Plus, this is a tax write-off!
$997 Paid in Full, or $1,097 total through a 3 month Payment Plan.
A $250 deposit is required to secure your chapter. The remaining $747 is due by June 15th.
Remember you will have the opportunity to purchase the books for $5 or $6 per book. You will be able to sell these books on your website, at book signings, and more at retail price or more (autographed by you) and you will keep the profits from those sales. Some past authors did a presale before the book was even published, which allowed them to have their investment paid for in full before the book could be purchased. Once you sell out your initial order of books, you can purchase them again and again and keep selling them!
Please consider joining this collaborative book experience and helping support grieving individuals worldwide.
